Dorks

I don’t know what possessed me but on the day of our ward talent show I got this brilliant idea that it would be hilarious if Ashley and I learned the Napoleon Dynamite dance. We practiced for about two hours slapped on some sweat bands and moon boots and here you go…

 

The quality is not so good because it was recorced from a cell phone. Anyway… I am not sure that everyone in my ward understood that this was meant to be funny which is kind of embarrassing but Ashley and I sure laughed a lot. Here is the real Napoleon Dance…

 

Lake Powell

There is just no place like it! We headed down there with the Vanchiere Clan. We ran into trouble right away when we got the boat into the water and it was stuck in reverse! We were stuck on the dock for about 3 hours…

We never did get the ski boat working but managed to enjoy ourselves on the houseboat. Swimming, eating, playing games, reading, talking, laughing etc. My three brothers and Matt showed up with speedos. Don’t worry, I am not posting any pictures of that.

 

 Gabe was obsessed with lizards while we were down there. He spent hours climbing the rocks watching them and catching them.

Everytime the dishwasher opens Noah comes running to help. He hands me things one by one and says “Here mommy”

Happy Birthday Honey!

Zoe was dying to decorate a cake with me after she saw me getting things ready to decorate cakes for a Young Women activity. She knew just who she wanted to make the cake for too…Honey! It is Honey’s birthday this next Sunday.

Young Women

This week for our young women activity we decorated cakes. It was fun and chaotic. Here are some of the cute young women in my ward and their creative cakes.

I have so much fun with the Young Women in our ward. I am glad I get to be involved with them.

Zoe’s Birthday

Zoe turned 5 on April 26th. We had a Dora party complete with an “adventure”, a pinata and a Dora Cake.
