The extent of my creativity

I don’t consider myself super creative but every now and then I attempt to do something fun. This is a cake I made for Chelsey’s baby shower. 



   

Florida

Everything is the same around here…snow, school, and church. So lets talk about something fun…Florida! Last December we went with Brent and Ellen and their kids to Orlando. We rented a house with a pool and hit Universal Studios as many times as possible. It was so warm and so fun! The memories of this have gotten me through the winter so far. I am not a fan of the cold snowy weather. Here are some pictures:              

Merry Christmas (Better Late than Never?)

We had a great Christmas. I was anxious about it because I really wanted to be in Utah with family for Christmas, but I had nothing to worry about, Christmas with my sweet little family was fun. We went to a Christmas party with a bunch of the people from Dan’s class at school. Nothing  fancy, just food and kids running wild everywhere. Then on Christmas Eve we invited a few families from our ward over and had more of the same (food and chaos). We broke tradition this year and only let the kids open one present under the tree on  Christmas Eve (in the past we have opened all of them and just had santa in the morning). So Christmas morning was really fun with lots of presents to open. We played with new toys and video games all day long and later went to dinner with some friends. While I don’t hope to spend all of my Christmas holidays away from family I am glad that I am here in Erie and starting new traditions with my own little family. Don’t I feel like a grown-up?
