Blog. Blog. Blog.

April 14, 2007

I know that you all can’t stand to miss out on a second of the Elton’s life…so I’m starting a blog for all to enjoy. At this exact moment, Ashley and I are picking over the remains of a “to go” platter from Applebee’s and thanking the heavens that all five of our kids are leaving us alone. Oh wait…now noah’s crying, someone needs their bum wiped, and everyone’s hungry…welcome to my life.

This weekend Dan and Ben went to a conference for school in Hershey, Pennsylvania (about 5 hours away). Ashley and I have tried to make a girls weekend of it. Last night we splurged on a babysitter and went to dinner and a movie (dollar movie of course) with a friend from the ward. I even left Noah with the babysitter for the first time. I felt so free and so guilty all at the same time. The movie we saw was “Music and Lyrics” and I would reccomend it to all of the female readers out there.

Today our big outing was going to the grand opening of a bank here in town. We were on our way to a children’s museum when the blowup toy and the free hot dog sign caught our eye. We let the kids jump in the bouncy toy, ride a train and called it good for the day. Tonight we plan to snuggle up with a bowl of Rhonda’s famous carmel popcorn and watch Jane Eyre. Hopefully that works out.

Here are some pictures of the Munchkins…

Zoe went to dance class this morning. She won a water bottle at the bank grand opening. She said her day was “ga-wait” (great).

Gabe won a pig keychain at the bank grand opening and got his quota of playing xbox in today. All-in-all, a good day for Gabe.

Noah is almost crawling and can scoot anywhere he wants.

  1. WOW! What an awesome family you have! I love tennis on the wii. We, Christian, Brigham, and I, have almost conquered the new Zelda.

    Take care.
